We ordered Turkey, Baby Back Ribs, Brisket and several sides for lunch. All of the food was excellent with great customer service. Will definitely return here again and would highly recommend you visit this restaurant.

This is the best BBQ food I have ever tried. Every single time I come to the city I need to make time to stop by and give it another try. The flavors have remained consistent throughout the years to include the prices. If anything could be changed in this location will be the Pepsi products for Coca-Cola! Most definitely a hidden gem for those who love Texas-BBQ or overall traditional BBQ food.

Fantastic service and food was great. Hands down the best in San Antonio. Shelby was super helpful, we had previously gone to Garcia’s BBQ on Huebner, they were rude & acted like it would take an act of congress to substitute 1/2 lb of pork. That being said please visit The Big Bib it’s great.

Rating: (4.0) Food: Service: Atmosphere: I recently visited Big Bib BBQ and had a mixed experience. Let’s start with the positives: the atmosphere was truly exceptional—relaxed, welcoming, and perfect for both dining and events. I give it a solid five stars. The sweet potato casserole was absolutely amazing—easily the highlight of the meal. However, the overall portion size didn’t feel worth the price, which was disappointing. For that reason, I’d rate the food three stars. Service varied depending on the side of the business. On the restaurant side, I didn’t feel heard when I asked about the food portions—it felt like my concern was brushed off, which wasn’t a good feeling. That said, the event venue side offered outstanding customer service: professional, kind, and attentive. Because of this, I give service four stars overall. Big Bib BBQ has a lot of potential, especially with the amazing atmosphere and standout items like the sweet potato casserole. A bit more consistency in service and value would make the experience even better.

I had never been to this bbq place, and I am SO GLAD I gave it a shot! The brisket sandwich was to die for, and the sweet potato casserole was equally delicious. The sweet tea rivals my Granny’s and the rib tips were perfectly tender and smoky. I did forget my mac n cheese, which I’m going back to get some tomorrow but otherwise, it was truly divine. I highly recommend mixing the tangy sauce and the bib sauce on the sandwich! An amazing combo.

I have found my new favorite BBQ spot in San Antonio! The brisket was amazing and moist, and the smoke and bite on the baby backs was perfect. The pintos were spot on, and the sweet potatoes was damn near dessert! I will definitely be back.

Good ribs and brisket. Smokey flavor, tender meat. No bark on the meat but still pretty good Texas barbecue. Presentation is very poor, but the food is great

Flavor: A Service: A Tea: A Solo dining: A The brisket was moist and tender. Not the most impressive but very good. The stars of the show, though, were the sides. The baked potato casserole and the sweet potato casserole were both top notch. So good. I loved the honey BBQ sauce. There’s a mural painted on the wall that said something like “You deserve to eat this good.” And I believe I do. And I did.
